Postpartum Care

***NOTE*** In order to book a service, we have certain requirements so that we can be sure that you (the consumer) understand and values the time we will spend together. First, you will enroll in our community-centered membership. Those who choose to opt-in to our members-only services will receive 20% off. There are two introductory classes ‘Ecological Childbirth Education and Essentials to Postpartum Education.’ This is for all parents that desire to retain our signature services. In these required classes we will discuss the range of services provided beginning with a personalized CARE Plan that is right for you and your family. Each class is $300 for couples and $150 for single moms. Classes run in 4-week sessions.

After your application is accepted to participate in our care, you will receive a packet, with a set of agreements which we ask you to fill out to the best of your knowledge, scan, email, or fax back to us, signed, within 7-days. The agreements are simple and straightforward and are not legally binding.

Agreements are signed so that both parties are in complete agreement about expectations of the type and length of the services being requested of our collective as your CARE coordinators and holistic practitioners.

Please be prepared to pay a retainer/deposit of 50% of your package, of which 50% is refundable if you must cancel before the birth of your baby.

Our services are covered by health insurance

Although some insurance companies will cover postpartum services, here are twenty+ insurance companies that have begun paying for postpartum services. You will have to call your insurance company to see if they participate. And if they do you will have to find out if they’ll cover all the expenses or just part of it. If you have an HSA/FSA health care savings card/flex spending account, you can use that to pay for services. Payment can also be made by cash, check, or credit card. Ask about our PAY IT FORWARD program to help us make our services accessible to needy families.

Have you planned your SWEET “Baby Moon” – Together we will spend plenty of time planning your postpartum experience during the prenatal period.

How many hours per week can you book services?

We provide a maximum of 12 hours of “in-home care” per week for up to 3 months.

This is variable for each mother, family, and situation. Your initial consultation, helps us create your very own personal CARE Plan. This will help us to determine what your ideal experience will be in a fun, creative, and therapeutic way. This way we can get specific about your postpartum goals and identify with your perspectives on our unique services. Your CARE Plan coordinator is here to create a positive relationship between you and your CARE team. So together we can identify any blocks and design your SWEET Postpartum Care Plan to help you and your partner discover the joys of parenthood.

Collective work hours are blocked to make sure that we are able to sustain our own family life while serving your needs. As wives, mothers of small children, and small business owners, it is important that we are clear on schedule so that we are respectful of each other’s responsibilities.

So when we have our 1st visit, soon after birth, I come to help get you on the right track with your breastfeeding journey, reproductive health, and overall healing, gently and effectively.

The HIVE Tour

During the introductory interview, a house tour is helpful to get an idea of the environment. Meeting with the family before birth, in your own home, helps the older siblings and other family members that may live in the home. It is necessary to get InTune to a routine before the baby(s) is born. It is ideal, but not necessary. Children often enjoy being the leader of the house tour.
