Making A SAPHE (safe) Space for Mama Bee’s

I hope this blog post finds you in a CLEAR and SAPHE space while navigating COVID-19 with grace.

Next month we are virtually reopening our community perinatal wellness center to begin serving members in June 2020.

We will have a rotation of educational services from our dedicated providers.

We will wear PPE and uniforms.

We are limiting members to our center one person at a time (by appointment only) for private sessions beginning in June.

We will require that members abide by our protocol and take temperature before arriving to their scheduled appointment and upon arrival in office.

If a member feels sick we advise them to “STAY HOME!”

Members must call first before arriving and schedule an appointment.

ALL member appointments must be confirmed before arriving to the center.

Members are allotted 1-3 hour bookings for services. Services that can be done virtually will be upheld as best practice.

We will only book (5) member appointments per day to keep traffic to a minimum.

We require that members wait in the car until their appointment time.

We require that all members wear face masks, and wash hands upon entering the building.

We will have markers and decals to direct members to designated service areas.

After each appointment we will allocate 30 mins to disinfecting and preparing for the next member to arrive.

This includes spraying and wiping down equipment and disposing of single use items, washing hands, and continual cleaning of the air with OxiLeaf purifiers.

We will open our doors to members on a bi-weekly rotation in effort to provide “in person” services, while making sure that our members and providers stay healthy and SAPHE.

This means working two weeks on and taking two weeks off as a precaution. Thus gradually reopening to the public while maintaining spacious solidarity.

We are Beehive Birth Consulting & Perinatal Wellness Center a partner of the National Perinatal Taskforce and Oklahomas only designated Perinatal Safe Spot.
